It couldn’t be a contest without awesome judges! I am pleased to have the Middle-Grade Mafia folks along for this journey again. They did an awesome job last year and it wasn’t easy with so many great entries. Yay, Mafia!
And finally, my terrific sponsor –
Winnwood Retirement which has graciously agreed to provide the prize money for the second year!
I can’t wait to read your stories! Best of luck to everyone.
Why The Bertie? The contest was named after one of the favorite characters in my first book, Last In A Long Line of Rebels.
I’m Joshua Ford writer of Class President and I joined the 12 & 13 Bertie contest at Sammy McClure Middle School and I was a special shout out winner and it said you could get a free autographed book and I would love to read last in a long line of rebels
