Ribbons are great, but money is better, amiright?
I’m sending a big THANK YOU to Winnwood Retirement.
They’ve agreed to sponsor The Bertie again this year and are providing $600.00 dollars in prize money! Whoo Hoo.
A Short Story Contest for students ages 10 – 13*
(*That’s right, I’ve expanded the contest to 10 year olds. The contest will be split into two categories – 10/11 and 12/13!)
Entries accepted Sept 1 – Sept 30
The details, rules, etc. will follow soon but I wanted to introduce you to some of the great people I’ll be partnering with to bring you this contest.
The lovely folks at FatReels have agreed to oversee the technical aspects of the contest. They’ll be creating a form where you can upload your story. Stay tuned for the link!
It couldn’t be a contest without awesome judges! I am pleased to have the Middle Grade Mafia folks along for this journey. They will be judging the entries, as well as providing some writing advice on what they’re looking for, and more. Yay, Mafia!
And finally, my terrific sponsor –
Winnwood Retirement which has graciously agreed to provide the prize money!
